Jack says it’s still too cold for him.
Grace made this Ladybug clay sculpture.
Then remade it and made another Dan and Phil.
While Hannah made this bunny/octopus.
Tuesday was park day and Chick-Fil-a cow appreciation day. Jack was much happier in water he could wade in. We met some new families and some old friends too.
Juno showed up and Jack was so happy.
We had breakfast at Chick-Fil-A and lunch there too, Jack got a bone instead of ice cream.
Grace made fondant cupcakes with Church of cupcakes at the library.
My new rainbow blanket.
Wednesday was tubing/swimming in Clear creek and lunch at D’Deli.
We left Jack at home, he was not happy about it, but we had fun. 7/11 day.
We had a bit of a rest, then went to the HR ice cream social. Jack had ice cream too. He was very good in the stroller, he only barked once and that was when we were near a goat.
We had food truck mac and cheese for dinner (very good) and looked around/listened to the music for a bit before heading home.
Thursday I went to Island NIA and had a good time dancing to beachy tunes. We found out our Shake Shack was open and went there for lunch – they have a puppy menu.
In the late afternoon I went to TDO at Smiley library. I made a sugar scrub and cologne with Moondance botanicals essential oils. The class was also learning about the types of oils and what they do for you.
My scrub is grapefruit, lime and ylang ylang, the cologne is cinnamon, lemongrass, ylang ylang. I’m glad we got to pass around the oils and take notes, there are certain oils that just smell like Lysol to me and I didn’t want to put those together (also I can’t remember which ones stink to me, but now I have a list and I just wrote ‘Lysol’ next to the ones I didn’t like.)
Cooling off in the pool.
More customs from Hannah.
The HR backcountry cam caught a bobcat taking a drink.
Friday we took Jack downtown for Kindness Krewe. It was just us, we handed out 40 bottles of water, a bag full of bananas and packs of PB crackers. Jack had fun letting people pet him.
We had SAME cafe’ for lunch, we sat out on the patio – pretty much everywhere we go now we sit on the patio because of Jack (but at least it’s been nice weather for sitting outside.)
Jack had his rabies and other shots today, ouch, but now he can go to the dog park! Tonight is superhero themed teen night at the DMNS, the girls are going and bringing friends, it should be fun. Walking Jack around City Park in the sunset. He ended up being really sore and wasn’t too happy with us.
