Friday

I spent the morning reading, it was nice. I’m reading about 4 books rights now, I just circulate through them. The one about Clarence Birdseye (yes, the frozen food guy) is really interesting. The girls played and watched TV then we went to the park to meet up with some friends. I left them there to run and get Bethany, then we picked them up (and some library books), dropped Bethany at home and went to Krispy Kreme for National Doughnut day. We waited.

We had to run by one more library to drop books, then got home to make taco salad for dinner. Hannah checked the mail and we got a letter from Joel. It was positive, the drill Sgts. are easing up, he bought some stuff at the PX, they got to watch movies for Memorial day, he is still the leader of their little squad. He talked about the gas chamber and rifle training and yes, he got some of our letters. He said we could send 3, not 4, not 5, but 3 pictures, so I will send those off tomorrow.

That was a good end to the day!
