To the river

Yesterday I worked on Grace’s fairy wings for comic-con, she wants the underside decorated with zentangles, so I just painted the back.

At TNO I made this doodle while James worked on the computer.

Today it was hot, so we went to the river.

No one from the group came with us, so we brought some friends from our street. The water was cold, but after a while you got used to it.

I walked up the creek to see how it was while the girls swam.

Then I came back and they were tubing.

We all walked up the creek to some downed trees and climbed on them and played for a bit there, then we came back to the river and I sat in the shade while the girls made rock cairns and played water fight.

I kept telling them it was time to go, but they spent another hour playing in the water before finally heading out. We got icee’s on the way home and they were good!
